How to solve Simultaneous Linear Equation

Solving Simultaneous Linear Equation is one of the topic to be asked in Mathematics SPM Examinations. Many of the students don't know how to solve it. Actually they've been learned this topic in form 3.

Below is an example:

Make the coefficient of g the same in both equations by multiplying equation 1 by 4.

The terms in g can be eliminated by subtracting the equations

Substitute the value of h into any equation (I choose equation 1)

Teknik Menjawab SPM Matematik

Teknik menjawab Matematik 1449 SPM telah diadakan pada hari Rabu, 27 Ogos 2008 di Dewan STESMA. Pn. Nor Hazlin (KP Matematik) telah melaksanakan tugas tersebut untuk 2 slot - Vokasional (7.45 pagi) dan Teknik (12.30 tgh).
Nampaknya pelajar-pelajar bersedia dan agak teruja untuk menghadapi peperiksaan yang bakal menjelang. Cikgu harap pelajar dapat menggunakan masa yang ada untuk berjumpa dengan cikgu dan mendapatkan lebih tips lagi. Matematik penting tau.

Do you know about SUDOKU?

The Question:
What does "Sudoku" mean?
The Answer:
"Sudoku" literally means "single number." It is actually an abbreviation of a longer name, "Sūji wa dokushin ni kagiru," which roughly means "the numbers must occur only once."

WHAT IS SUDOKU?

Picture number 2 is an example of a SUDOKU puzzle. In the puzzle, you'll notice that there are numbers in it. Your task is to fill in the empty squares with numbers 1 to 9. And this is where the fun begins!

When solving SUDOKU, it's very easy to miss an obvious number. Try not to bogged down on a single unknown square. Give enough time, there is not a SUDOKU that can't be solved. No matter how good or bad you are at SUDOKU, these puzzle will give you a good mental workout, much like a keep fit for your brain. Research says that doing a SUDOKU every day might keep your brain in shape because it's being trained to think faster and more logically.

SOLVE SIMULTANEOUS LINEAR EQUATIONS USING MATRICES

Matrix. One of the chapter for Form 5 Mathematics. My students learn this chapter in March. But when we do our revision for SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) examination last week, most of my students forget how to solve linear equations using matrices (matrix method).
Here are some tips that I can share with you. First, you should know how to find the inverse matrix. Then you can follow the next step using the picture above.

Preparing the slide for Mathematics SPM Answering Technique

This week I am quite busy preparing slides for the ceramah Teknik Menjawab soalan SPM Matematik. I use Microsoft Power Point for my slide presentation. Pn. Musliha (Guru Kaunseling) said the ceramah will be on the 14 of August. So tunggu aje masa ceramah tu nanti.

Learn Mathematics ... subject that counts

Ramai yang kata Matematik itu susah. Manusia memang mempunyai otak kanan dan kiri. Kepada yang minat dan pandai Matematik, pasti dia banyak menggunakan otak kiri. Sebenarnya Mathematics is fun. Once you can solve Mathematics problem, you'll fell great.

Cikgu selalu berpesan untuk mahir Math, perlukan latihan yang banyak. Practise makes perfect. You should do at least 40 questions per day. Barulah pandai. Belakang parang diasah lagikan tajam.
